As parents and heavily indebted students get squeezed more and more each year, many of America's Marxist universities continue to sit on perpetually increasing endowments so colossal in scope that just the average annual appreciation alone would suffice to pay tuition, room & board for every student. There are about 100 colleges with endowments totaling more than $1 Billion, with half of those topping $2 Billion and others going up all the way to the 30s, 40s & even 50s of billions! (here) The money -- professionally managed by the best of the best managers and, in many cases, enhanced by state funding (money is fungible) -- just sits there and accumulates for the sake of accumulating.
Harvard's fund leads the nation at a staggering $53 Billion. On a per student basis, Princeton tops the list with an endowment value equivalent to $3 million per student! Even my partially publicly funded alma mater, Rutgers is hoarding $2 Billion now. And yet, year after year after year, (((they))) continue to extort parents and students with ever-increasing tuition, housing and additional fees for cafeteria slop and textbooks.

1. (((They))) sit on billions and hoard the annual returns. // 2. Meanwhile, kids are forced into debt so the schools can rake in even more money. // 3. And finally, when they get their hands on the impressionable young and indebted students, they redirect their anger towards "capitalism" and teach the kids that Marxism is the answer to "greed!"
Now when politicians propose tax hikes on corporations, business owners and the great American middle class -- and even just low income people for that matter -- you'll find the Marxist scum of Quackademia always cheer-leading in the fore. Former Harvard professorette and US Senator Loony Lizzie Warren goes so far as to praise such tax proposals as "economic patriotism" -- a term whose corollary necessarily implies that opposition to tax increases upon the productive is therefore "unpatriotic."
But when calls to "tax the rich" are directed at the multi-billion dollar endowments of America's universities, then, all of a sudden, (((they))) become very "conservative" on the issue of taxes.
The article reveals:
"American universities (endowment) returns complicate the debate about big endowments’ tax status. One of the few tax increases that President Donald J. Trump pushed through was a 1.4 percent levy on the largest university endowments’ investment income. Facing lobbying by the affected institutions, Democrats have discussed reducing the tax as part of the spending bills slowly working their way through Congress." (emphasis added)
Ya hear that? The Marxist misers (cough cough) of "elite" quackademia are "lobbying" their Demonrat darlings in Congress to scale back a measly 1.4% levy on their investment income! Whatever happened to that rotgut about "from each according to their ability, to each according to his need," eh? No good, filthy, criminal, money-grubbing monopolistic "capitalist" phonies!
1. Loony Lizzie Warren was paid over $300,000 per year to teach her commie crap while at Harvard. // 2. As Senator (D-MA), the filthy ranting, raving, finger-waving harridan (bossy old hag) has screamed for "free college" (taxpayer-funded tuition) --- while hypocritically blasting Trump's tax on university endowments. // 3. So much of quackademia (especially the "Ivy League" is controlled by ... well, you know. It was only due to Trump's public shaming that Harvard could no longer accept "Covid-19" financial aid. (here)
Though Trump's unprecedented tax on these endowments has been very useful in calling more attention to this horrific and hypocritical hoarding, the real solution here is for a fascistic mandate for the common good.
Mike's Plan --- Commandeer these endowments by forcing our "institutions of higher learning" to apply the annual income generated toward free tuition for all students -- which can then be paid back to the endowment in the form of a lifetime 0.5% garnishment from every graduate's salary. No student loans and no mortgaging the house for Junior's college. And just for good measure --- let's round up the Marxist professors by the thousands and string them up by their necks from the campus trees as an example for posterity.
Hey -- I can dream ... can't I?
Boobus Americanus 1: I read in the New York Times today that many universities made record returns on their endowment funds.
Boobus Americanus 2: That's good. Maybe that will help to keep tuition rates down.
*
St. Sugar: Boobuss, you cretin! They'll jusst hoard that money and keep increassing tuition by 10% every year.
Editor: Medicine and Education have got to be the most corrupt and destructive cash cartels operating in America today.
