Josep Almudéver Mateu, the last known survivor of the Red International Brigades who volunteered to fight against the honorable General Francisco Franco's Fascist liberators in Spain’s Civil War has died in France. He was 101.
Sulzberger's Slimes seems to have been a little late in learning of this French "hero's" death and then printing this puff-piece. The first online obituary, in English, as far as we can tell, actually appeared five days earlier, on May 26, at the website (we kid you not): "In Defense of Communism" www.idcommunism.com/2021/05/ That too was a love letter, which closed by quoting a social media tribute to the dead Red issued by the Communist Party of the Workers of Spain:
"Josep Almudéver, the last survivor of the International Brigades, one of the most important historical examples of proletarian internationalism, has died. Honor and glory."
Almudéver remained an unapologetic Marxist all of his life, and must surely have felt very satisfied of what had become of Spain and Europe as he approached death. In the vast scheme of things, the death of this centenarian commie isn't really newsworthy. But the fact that the oh-so-estimable "paper of record" -- following right on the heels of a website named "In Defense of Communism" -- is reverently eulogizing this "anti-fascist" sho nuff' does tell us A LOT, about the Judenpress now, doesn't it? And it also provides us with a good "teachable moment" ™ about the Spanish Civil War and the "noble" volunteers of the International Brigades for which Almudéver fought.

Almudéver was born in France to Spanish parents. He was a teenager living in Spain when Franco's generals launched a military coup in July 1936 against Spain’s Republican (about to go full blown Communist) government. The Reds and libtards of Spain then plunged the country into a brutal three-year civil war.
Franco's rebellion deeply divided the country -- (similar to how America is divided today) -- with Social Democrats, Communists, and libtards fighting for the government; and Nationalists, conservatives, and the Catholic Church favoring Franco. The war quickly became a proxy war between Nationalism and Globalism -- with Germany, Portugal and Italy providing military and tactical aid to Franco, as Stalin's Soviet Union shipped arms and advisers to the Reds. The Communist Internationale (Comintern) also sent volunteers to fight for the Spanish regime.
About 2,500 American Communists (many of them Jewish) formed the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. The Polish-Jewish Bolsheviks were among the largest contingents, and the most sadistic. By the way, that was the same greasy bunch of "Poles" who would, just three years later, trigger World War II by slaughtering German civilians trapped in Poland by the 1000s -- and, eight years after that, terrorize the Palestinians out of their villages. But I digress.
As usual, Red fighters -- most notably those Polish Jews -- committed horrific atrocities against civilians, such as setting fire to the wives and children of Nationalist officers after dousing them with petrol. Determined to stamp out Christianity, they raped nuns, tortured priests, and set fire to churches with the worshipers locked inside. The Spanish Civil War finally ended in victory for Franco, but the war between New World Order Globalism and European Fascism was only just beginning.

During the long reign of Franco which followed (1939-1975), Spain remained sane as the rest of "democratic" ™ Europe slid deeper and deeper into moral depravity, big government and the gradual regional entanglement which ultimately "progressed" into today's Marxist-Trotskyite insane asylum that is the European Union. Unfortunately for Spain, about a year into the rule of King Juan Carlos -- who became boss following Franco's death -- the traitor King began to institute "reforms." In 1981, Spanish Generals attempted to initiate a coup against the liberal King, but Juan Carlos nipped that in the bud by taking to the television and appealing to the public. After the failed coup, the leftward push accelerated. In 1986, Spain joined the European Economic Community -- which later became the European Union, in 1993.
So you see, in the broader context of things, the Spanish Civil War wasn't really a "war" -- it was only a battle. Franco's fascists won that battle, but in the end, Mr. Almudéver's "International Brigades," in service to the New World Order, won the war.
