To the astute reader (that'd be yours truly) this "Guest Essay" by quackademic Covidiot John M Barry (cough cough) of Tulane University comes as more welcome evidence that the mass psychosis of Stupid-19 mania -- in spite of the Globalists' best efforts to keep the fear alive -- is finally petering out. Praise the Lord! There have been some earlier relaxations of the mania, of course -- broken by the sudden "outbreaks" ™ of new "variants ™," particularly Delta and Omicron. But this time around, we do not foresee the bewildered subjects of the overlapping tyrannical Kingdoms of Normiedom and Libtardia being able to "get it up again."
Mr. Barry senses this, and appears to be flailing away in his efforts to keep fear alive. Indeed, a former New York Slimes reporterette named Bari Weiss (cough cough), appearing on the tellie with the odious Leftist pervert Bill Maher (cough cough) -- a suddenly and strangely reasonable-sounding "Bill Maher" I might add -- dropped this unexpected bomblet for the approving audience of libtards who then cheered her.
Weiss:
“I’m done. I’m done with COVID. I'm done .....
We were told you get the vaccine, you get the vaccine and you get back to normal. And we haven't gotten back to normal. I know that so many of my liberal friends are with me on this, but they are scared to say it out loud and be called anti-vax, science deniers or pro-Trump.
And it's ridiculous at this point, I'm sorry, but if you believe the science, you will look at the data that we did not have two years ago and you will find out that cloth masks do not do anything. You will realize that you can show your vaccine passport at a restaurant and still be asymptomatic in carrying Omicron. 1 & 2. John M. Barry: Another quackademic & author puffed-up by his Tribesmen at Sulzberger's "paper of record." / 2. Notable libs Bari Weiss and Bill Maher (or an imposter?) are "done with Covid."
The essay digs up the engineered "Spanish Flu" of 1918" as a lesson for not letting our guard down because there may still be a "variant" ™ or two out there that could get us. Let's dissect a few excerpts from Barry's desperate and devious effort to keep the fear alive.
Barry: Most histories of the 1918 influenza pandemic say it ended in the summer of 1919 when a third wave of the respiratory contagion finally subsided. Yet the virus continued to kill. A variant that emerged in 1920 was lethal enough that it should have counted as a fourth wave.
Analysis: Stupid-19 has had three major "waves" ™ (Pappa Covid, Delta & Omicron). Barry is using the make-believe precedent of a "4th wave" in 1920 to sell us on a possible "4th wave" of Stupid-19.
Barry: Nearly all cities in the United States imposed restrictions during the pandemic’s virulent second wave, which peaked in the fall of 1918. That winter, some cities reimposed controls when a third, though less deadly wave struck. But virtually no city responded in 1920.
Analysis: Because there were no more restrictions (such as mask mandates) by 1920, the imaginary "4th wave" -- according to Barry -- turned out to be deadlier than it should have been... Sure it did.
Barry: People were weary of influenza, and so were public officials. Newspapers were filled with frightening news about the virus, but no one cared.
Analysis: That's exactly where we are now (almost) -- which is why the worried tone of this essay is music to our ears.
Barry: People at the time ignored this fourth wave; so did historians. .....We should not repeat that mistake.
Analysis: We will repeat that "mistake," Mr. Barry. Even libtards and normies, slowly but surely, are "moving on." No "Great Reset" for you and your paymasters.
Barry: True, right now we have every reason for optimism. Nearly the entire U.S. population will soon have been either infected or vaccinated, strengthening their immune systems against the virus as we know it now.
Analysis: And that is why President Trump had to push the "Operation Warp Speed" vaccination program! As Barry himself laments, the vaccination of 210 million normies has, in their simple minds, now rendered them invulnerable or less vulnerable to Stupid-19. That was not the original plan. The plan was to keep the world locked down and deny Normiedom of their magic jab for 3, 4 or even 5 years --- by which time the devastation and destitution would have been unbearable. Trump knew this and foiled the scheme with a non-mandatory vaccine.

Barry: (This) makes overconfidence, indifference or weariness, after two years of battling the virus — and one another — a danger now.
Analysis: The "danger" of which this hired hack speaks is the "danger" posed to the Globalist "Great Reset" (final NWO takeover) which ain't gonna happen now as Trump and the patriots prepare for the long-awaited and devastating counter offensive of 2022.
Barry: Signs of weariness — or misguided hope — are everywhere. Although more than 70 percent of the adult population is fully vaccinated, progress has stagnated...... parents have gotten only about 20 percent of children ages 5 to 11 fully vaccinated.
Analysis: Yep.... Stupid-19 is finally dying, and Bolshevik Barry doesn't like it.
Barry: As in 1920, people are tired of taking precautions.
Analysis: Let us hope that "as in 1920" -- the desire for a "return to normalcy" will sweep away the commie cancer in a historic election rout -- only this time, may the "America First" wave finish off the NWO once and for all. Seditious specimen of scum like Barry need to pay a dear price for this hoax.

Now, getting back to Trump -- in both of his recent rallies he declared that -- thanks to his vaccine (cringe, but strategically necessary) it is time to move on past Covid. He's actually been saying that for a while now, but this time, it appears that fast-growing numbers of normies are indeed ready for a return to pre-Covid normalcy. And the timing couldn't be better as the Durham investigations and the election investigations slowly but surely continue without leaks. We've got a feeling that when Trump's Truth Social media giant opens for business this coming "President's Day" (February 21) -- it will signal the beginning of the great counter-punch(s). Stupid-19 will be ending just as "The Giant Voice" will be beginning.
As the title of Trump's latest adopted theme song (by Sam & David (1966)) -- now being blasted at the end of his rallies -- goes: "Hold On, I'm Coming."
And indeed he is. Stay tuned.
